Blake Wimmer, Au.D.

Blake Wimmer, Au.D., earned his Doctor of Audiology at Pacific University, after studying Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences with a minor in Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota. His clinical training includes Children's Hospital of Orange County, Rady Children's Hospital, and the Newport Mesa Audiology Balance and Ear Institute.
He practices across comprehensive and vestibular evaluation and implantable technology, with particular attention to real-ear verification — making sure a fitting is measured, not assumed.

Caitlyn Welsh, Au.D.
San Diego native
Caitlyn Welsh, Au.D., completed her Doctor of Audiology at Illinois State University, with clinical placements at the Long Beach Veterans Affairs clinic, Carle ENT, and the Central Illinois Institute for Balance — and her fourth-year externship here at Pacific ENT, where she now practices.
Her work centers on audiologic diagnostics, adult amplification, and implantable devices. As a graduate researcher in ISU's Hearing-Cognition Research Lab, she developed a lasting interest in the connection between hearing and cognitive health.

Hernan Goldsztein, MD
Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery
Dr. Goldsztein is a board-certified otolaryngologist — head and neck surgeon, fellowship-trained in Otology & Neurotology through a clinical and surgical fellowship at the California Ear Institute. He completed his residency at the University of Maryland and clinical research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, after graduating Magna cum Laude from the University of Buenos Aires.
His practice covers hearing and balance disorders, skull base surgery, and ear surgery — including cochlear implants and bone-implanted hearing aids. He works alongside our Doctors of Audiology on implantable hearing care: they handle candidacy evaluation, programming, and long-term mapping, and he performs the surgery.
